My name is Celia and I am a healthy lifestyle enthusiast. Adventure to Wellness was created to help empower and educate women with a busy lifestyle (and anyone else who is open to a little change) to transform your daily habits into healthier ones.

This is a journey and not an instant result shenanigan. It takes time and this is a good thing because you learn so much along the way!

– My Lightbulb Moment! –
I have a passion for health and wellness but after becoming a mother I had to modify my daily habits to continue to feel myself and keep up with the everyday craziness of laundry, playing, teaching, meal preparing, and the list can go on.
After gaining 50 pounds with my first pregnancy I wanted to lose the weight safely and feel somewhat myself again while not following a crazy fad diet and risk hindering my breastfeeding journey.
I wanted to find that balance of keeping myself looking sexy for myself and my husband as well as keeping my body healthy in order to run around with my kids and keep on top of daily life.
I set out to find a modified lifestyle routine that would work for a new mother but didn’t require me to spend hours a day working out or hours cooking healthy meals.
I didn’t find much information that was realistic for a new mom like myself to follow. After my first baby was born, I decided to put my own simple 4 step routine together based on what I had learned in my nutrition and environmental classes to see if it would help me lose weight and regain my energy.
To my surprise, my baby weight was not only slowly melting away but my nails were stronger, my hair felt silky and I had incredible energy. I quickly began to realize that NUTRITION and wellness is the key to maintaining a proper weight and a healthy energized lifestyle.
I decided to do the same with my second and third babies to see if the change in lifestyle and tricks I had found worked. And IT DID!
Although the pictures are not the most candid, it shows that I have lost over 50 pounds for each of my three pregnancies and have kept it off without gaining it back!
I did not spend hours in the gym (because I honestly did not have much extra time and still do not) but I did spend much of my time learning about nutrition. I continue to feed my brain about nutrition and wellness because it fascinates me! *Also to note, I am far from a six pack. Having a six pack is not my goal. Maybe someday but not today.

As a young adult and mother, I have realized that living a healthy lifestyle isn’t hard. Society today is what makes it MUCH harder. Some might disagree and I am completely OK with that!
